Description:
This program provides intensive education and training primarily oriented
toward the local and regional job markets. Thus, most students select an
applied track which emphasizes clinical and counseling psychology. In
addition, the program can serve as an opportunity for graduate work in
experimental psychology or to prepare for further graduate education. For
such students, a thesis option is available. For most students, this is a
two year program containing equal amounts of advanced foundation courses,
applied course work, and supervised internship experience in treatment
facilities or research laboratories.
