Description:
Babson's innovative Two-Year program curriculum has earned worldwide
acclaim. The integrated curriculum has a focus on teamwork and traces the
progress of a business enterprise from the birth of an idea to being a
market leader. In the first year, students explore complex management issues
from the diverse perspectives of multiple disciplines through four distinct
modules to develop a core knowledge of business fundamentals. Each
successive module is designed to build upon the material of the previous
one. This format facilitates the flexibility and interactive learning that
are integral to an interdisciplinary approach. Bridging the gap between
classroom discussion and industry, each student participates in a year long
consulting project with a client company. This rich experience allows
students to quickly apply their learning in a real-world environment. In the
second year, students focus their study through a series of elective courses
and have the option of acquiring additional applied experience through
various programs. The vital thread of entrepreneurship is woven throughout
their two-year experience.
