The Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Bastyr
University integrates the rich history of Chinese acupuncture methods with
the study of modern medical sciences and the contemporary practice of
acupuncture and Oriental medicine. In addition to the fundamental
traditional Chinese methods of diagnosis, therapeutics, techniques and
Chinese herbal medicine, courses are offered in five element style
acupuncture, acupuncture detoxification and electroacupuncture.

focused on treating the whole person and promoting optimal health. The
philosophical approach of Naturopathic Medicine includes these key
