Description:
The Master of Science in Industrial Technology (MSIT) was developed to
provide relevant graduate education to students that are constrained by
place and time. The MSIT provides a pathway to earn a graduate degree
without the need to have a specific undergraduate bachelor's degree. For
example, a person with a bachelor's degree in English that is working as the
link between the customer and engineering should find the MSIT beneficial.
Thus, a variety of bachelor degrees fulfill the requirement for a completed
bachelor degree. The MSIT is composed of 4 components. They are Core
Requirements, Quality Leadership, Elective Courses, and a Synthesis area.
The classes provide knowledge related to the course description. Usually,
class assignments provide opportunities for students to research and write
on topics related to their career field or field of interest.
Accreditation Description:
Bemidji State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
The industrial technology program in Bemidji State University’s College of
Professional Studies recently received full accreditation from the National
Association of Industrial Technology (NAIT). The accreditation became
effective in November of 2007and continues through October of 2011.
