CSU, Chico has offered a distance education computer science masters degree
since 1984. Students can start courses throughout the year, lectures are offered
via videostreaming and the GRE is not required to become admitted.
Accreditation Description:
Fully accredited by the Computer Science Accreditation Commission (CSAC) of the
Computing Sciences Accreditation Board (CSAB) and the Western Association of
Schools and Colleges (WASC).

This master's program has been designed to meet the needs ofpracticing teachers
in the geographically large, rural community of Northern California and beyond.
All courses will be presented by WebCT (Web Course Tools) or other web-based
curricular materialover the Internet for distant access during the semester and
will haveadapted laboratory and field schedules on a few weekends at the CSU,
Chico campus.
