Description:
The MFA Program in Design immerses students in a critical examination of the
social, cultural, and cognitive impact of graphic design while
simultaneously giving visual form to their investigations. Students with
diverse cultural and professional experiences will challenge and strengthen
their ideas, identities, and voices as designers.

The MFA Program in Fine Arts thoroughly prepares the student for a life of
art making. During this two-year period of intensive creative and
professional growth, students are immersed in a laboratory of culture
through experiments and exhibitions; they are exposed to a wide variety of
styles, philosophies, histories, and cultures.
