Description:
CLU's Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology emphasizes both
research and counseling skills. Students gain an understanding of
psychological disorders and methods of treating those disorders. Students
have the option to focus on child and adolescent therapy or psychiatric
rehabilitation. The curriculum is designed for students who plan to continue
their graduate studies in a doctoral program. Classes are taught in the
evenings and occasionally on Saturdays to accommodate adult students who are
employed full-time.

Description:
This program prepares the student to become a professional marital and
family therapist. It is designed to meet all academic requirements for the
California state license in marital and family therapy. Licensing by the
California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners requires a master's degree
with specified content, supervised counseling experience, and written and
oral examination.

Description:
The basic purpose of the Graduate Program in Public Policy and
Administration is to provide both a broad-based education and specific
training for individuals who wish to pursue careers in administration in a
variety of public service positions. There is a need for individuals who can
bring imagination, competency, reliability and innovation to this area of
leadership. CLU aspires to contribute a dimension of liberalization to the
development of such persons. Dedicated as we are to the education of the
whole person and with our service orientation, CLU provides a unique and
viable setting for the education of individuals who will find personal
fulfillment through such a program and who will, in turn, serve society
well. The program is offered at CLU's main campus in Thousand Oaks and a
graduate center in Oxnard.
