The Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling is designed to prepare men and women for counseling ministries in church, parachurch, and community settings. The 60-hour program combines courses in Bible, theology, and biblical counseling with internship opportunities and a final project to equip the student with a knowledge and use of the Holy Scriptures concerning God, man, and man?s problems.

The purpose of the M.A. curriculum is to give the student a linguistic foundation in Biblical Hebrew, to introduce him to linguistic tools for Hebrew and Aramaic, and to provide him with the skills he needs to interpret, apply, and expound the Hebrew Old Testament accurately as part of his preparation for effective professional ministry.
