Description:
The Graduate Education Program at Christian Brothers University has one mission,
to prepare excellent K-12 teachers who will lead in their classrooms and in
their schools and thus add value to the lives and learning of children and young
people even as they also make strong contributions to the improvement of schools
where they teach. The MED degree program is designed to provide advanced
professional development for already licensed classroom teachers, which is also
appropriate for others in the field of education, e.g., community educators,
professional staff and administrators at area community colleges, and
trainers/developers in corporate or non-profit setting and is offered on an
accelerated eight-week calendar during the fall and spring semesters, allowing
students to complete two eight-week terms in the fall and two eight-week terms
in the spring with summer courses are offered using four-week terms.

The Graduate Educational Leadership Program at Christian Brothers University has
one mission, to prepare excellent K-12 administrators who will lead their
schools. The MSEL degree program designed to prepare individuals for formal
school leadership roles (principal, assistant principal, supervisor, or
facilitator) and is offered on an accelerated eight-week calendar during the
fall and spring semesters, allowing students to complete two eight-week terms in
the fall and two eight-week terms in the spring with summer courses are offered
using four-week terms.

Description:
The Graduate Education Program at Christian Brothers University has one mission,

where they teach with the MAT program designed to prepare individuals who are
seeking to become licensed teachers for the first time. CBU offers all graduate
education courses on an accelerated eight-week calendar during the fall and
spring semesters, allowing students to complete two eight-week terms in the fall
and two eight-week terms in the spring with summer courses are offered using
four-week terms.
