Description:
The A.C.T. Programs are accelerated certification programs of teacher preparation approved by The New JerseyState Department of Education. Persons pursuing K-12 certification must have earned a BA/BS degree in the major area for which they are applying and passed the PRAXIS II Subject Assessment Test(s).
Students pursuing K-8 elementary teacher certification must have earned a B.A./B.S. degree in liberal arts and pure sciences, or have successfully completed at least 60 liberal arts credits and a passing score on the Praxis 2 test of General Knowledge. Certified teachers are eligible to enroll in the courses for an endorsement in Teacher of the Handicapped. A Pre-K through 3rd grade certification program has been added recently in a Fast Track cohort-based format.

Description:
The M.A. in Counseling Psychology has been designed to prepare professionals to meet the challenges involved in providing counseling services to individuals and/or groups, and to be effective facilitators of change and growth. Graduates work in a variety of mental health or human services settings, including mental health care facilities, training and vocational rehabilitation centers, child welfare and family counseling agencies, institutions for the aging, and other social and community organizations; or for admission into doctoral programs.

Description:
The Master of Science in Healthcare Management features an integrated curriculum combining a multidisciplinary core focusing on contemporary issues, advanced courses in healthcare management, flexible electives and a culminating experience developed by the student and faculty advisor. This 33 credit program has been designed for healthcare managers, providers or other healthcare professionals who wish to enhance their healthcare management career opportunities. Applicants with other backgrounds are welcome and will find the flexibility of the program especially attractive. An eighteen (18) credit Executive Certificate Program in Health Care Management is also available.

Description:
The Dietetic Internship is a supervised preprofessional practice program in Nutrition and Dietetics which isaccredited by the Commission on Accreditation/Approval for Dietetics Education (CAADE) of the AmericanDietetic Association. Individuals who complete the Dietetic Internship are eligible to apply to take the national exam leading to certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD). A full-time option (nine months) and part-time optionare available. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree and verification of completing a CAADE- approvedundergraduate course of study.

Description:
The College offers an M.A. in Theology, as well as a graduate Certificate in Spirituality. The M.A. in Theology is a 36 credit program which consists of four core courses (Biblical Theology, The Mystery of Christ, The Mystery of the Church, and Liturgical Theology) and eight courses of electives. The program is designed for the adult lay population whose lifestyle and commitment would require a part-time matriculation.
