Reformation Theology is designed to introduce students to the Reformation period in Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries. The regular graduate faculty of Concordia University is augmented by adjunct professors from Ohio State University, Stanford University, University of Iowa, and Westminster and Concordia Seminaries during the current two-year period so that students are exposed to research of distinguished scholars as they prepare for college teaching careers and professional growth.

The Master of Arts Degree Program in Theology and Culture is designed to prepare students to meet the rich ethnic and cultural heritage which is so evident in the Pacific Southwest. From its west coast campus, Concordia has a long history of involvement with Hispanic, African and Pacific Rim cultures. Students in a three- year period have "hands on" experience on how Christianity interacts with diverse cosmopolitan cultures.
