Description:
Offered by the Oswald Hoffman School of Christian Outreach (OHSCO) through
Concordia University, St. Paul.
The primary mission of the church is to make disciples of every nation by
bearing witness to Jesus Christ through the sharing of the Gospel and the
administration of the Sacraments. The Master of Arts in Christian Outreach
equips church leaders with a deepened understanding of a theology of God's
mission and provides the practical tools necessary to engage in the outreach
ministries of the church.

Description:
The Master of Arts in Education with Differentiated Learning emphasis is
designed to prepare teachers, and those in related fields, to meet the learning
needs of today's K-12 students. Emphasis is placed on diverse literacy concerns,
second-language learning, and mental health needs. Assessment, instruction, and
the life-long educational needs of such learners are investigated based upon the
premise that instructional approaches should be differentiated in relation to
the diversity of the individual students. Participants in the MA program will
design research that is applicable to a practical problem.

Description:
Early Childhood Education is the term given to the teaching of children from
birth to age eight. Professional practices of early childhood educators focus on
teaching strategies based on child development and learning styles; creating
developmentally, individually, and culturally appropriate practices; assessing
children's development and learning; and developing positive relationships with
children and families. Learners in the MA program will design research and apply
the results to a practical problem, understand and articulate developmentally
appropriate practices, focus on advocacy and leadership within early childhood
education.

Description:
This degree program recognizes the importance of Criminal justice professionals
in the human services field.
The curriculum enables students to enhance professionalism, position themselves
for leadership opportunities, and contribute to life transitions by building
upon experience and previous study. Students in this program come with a wealth
of experience including law enforcement, courts, corrections, military and
social service, which will uniquely benefit each cohort.
Compared to undergraduate coursework, graduate study is more creative,

graduates will be Certified Family Life Educators.
The primary objective of this degree is to articulate the definition and role of
the Human Service professional- particularly the role of the family life
professional. The board principles and philosophy of family life education are

The MBA is designed for motivated emerging leaders to help solve real
organizational issues. The exclusive academic partnership with nationally known
author and futurist Joel Barker and the Institute for Strategic Exploration
gives students access to cutting-edge strategic planning tools, such as the
institute’s trademarked Strategy Matrix® and Implications Wheel® software, tools
that are currently only available in the education setting to students in
Concordia University’s MBA program. This program immerses students in the
subject matter through real-world applications of business theory and practice
using industry analysis and literature review, evaluation of global trends and
individualized study. Significant learning comes through peer and instructor
experiences and interaction. Using the business immersion approach, key concepts
are integrated throughout the program to give students multiple opportunities to

proficient in both qualitative and quantitative tools to aid in decision-making,
