The Cooperstown Graduate Program,founded in 1964 prepares students for
professional careers in museums, historical societies, and related agencies. A
Cooperstown degree combines a strong base in research and the critical study of
American material culture and American civilization with a museum learning model
that includes practical experiences in museum administration, education and
exhibition and collections care and management.
