Program Description: You've noticed something about your ministry. The longer you have been engaged in ministry the deeper its opportunities and unique challenges. The Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership is a degree for those in ministry leadership positions who want to go deeper. This degree will not only nurture your ability to lead in ministry and make a real difference in the lives of others, but will advance your theological understanding, exercise your critical thinking and expand your biblical knowledge in new and exciting ways. Program Goals: (1) To promote personal, spiritual and professional growth through advanced biblical, theological and ministerial education. (2) To enhance immediate effectiveness, knowledge and competency in ministry through an end graduate program not designed to feed into a doctoral program. (3) To encourage the pursuit of peer and lifelong education and the continuing development of essential personal and professional ministry skills. (4) To offer an inviting environment for ministry professionals to pursue continuing education that offers spiritual, theological and leadership formation and training. Admission & Degree Requirements: To be considered for the Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership program, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum 2.5 final grade point average and have at least four years of full-time vocational ministry experience. In addition, applicants must show evidence of a personal commitment to Jesus Christ, exhibiting a biblically sound lifestyle and upstanding moral conduct and character. For this 36-hour program, transfer students must complete at least 24 semester hours at Cornerstone University, and every student must fulfill a minimum of 15 semester hours in-residence. To graduate, students must finish with a final G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher.

Description:
The TESOL program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to teach English in local and international cross-cultural settings. This is a 33 credit hour combined on-line/on-campus program. 22 credits are completed on-line and 11 on our campus in Grand Rapids, Michigan over 2 Julys.

Cornerstone University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and is approved to offer degree programs in the state of Michigan.
