Description:
Management concepts and leadership skills and their application in the delivery
of health services are emphasized. The program is designed to prepare managers
and administrators by integrating quantitative analyses, critical
thinking/writing, application of theory, leadership and technology. Advanced
certificate programs in Long-Term Care Administration, Clinical Research
Associate and Health Services Administration are also offered as a component of
this M.S. program. Each certificate program consists of five, 3-credit hour
courses.

Clinical Nurse Specialist in Community Health Nursing: Concentrations are
available in management, teaching, or addictions. An advanced certificate
program in Community Addictions is offered as a component of this program.
Family Nurse Practitioner: Prepares nurses to provide primary care for patients
of all ages.
Nursing (choice of clinical focus): Affords students the opportunity, with
guidance, to self-design the clinical component of the program.
