The School of Leadership and Development is entrepreneurial in the creation
and delivery of educational programs that build capacity in leadership and
business locally, globally, based on Christ-centered principles of
integrity, excellence and justice, and that embrace sustainable partnerships
that are learner-focused. This new program of certificate training is
designed to meet the evolving professional needs of contemporary Christian
leaders serving the two-thirds world. Each certificate training will develop
critical competencies for leaders of church ministries, missions,
faith-based non-profits and international development practitioners.

Description:
The Master of Arts in International Development provides training and
education that focuses on the specific needs and issues facing development
workers and NGOs. The program is aimed at leaders, facilitators and managers
of development projects, who want to enhance their theological framework for
development, hone their skills and gain a better understanding of the
social, economic and cultural perspectives that impact social
transformation.

Started in 1999, the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership provides
training and education that focuses on the specific needs and issues facing
Christian leaders of organizations serving the two-thirds world. Some of
those needs include modeling servant leadership, wise stewardship of
financial and human resources, financial management and planning from a
biblical perspective, assessing cultural and economic realities of the

Description:
For over twenty years, the Economic Development program has been equipping
grace-filled servants to partner with the poor in cities such as Nairobi,
Bombay, Mexico City, as well rural communities all over the world. We serve
alongside individuals, churches, and ministries with a program that
recognizes the multi-faceted causes of poverty. We recognize the need for
holistic intervention strategies that address the underlying economic,
social, cultural, political and spiritual challenges.
Students learn alongside international development practitioners and
international faculty and develop their vision for service. You will engage
in study and undertake research in areas such as microfinance, HIV/AIDS,
sustainable development, holistic community development, etc. From small
business consultants in India to senior executives with major NGO's, the
Economic Development program has hundreds of alumni serving in over fifty
countries of the world today.
