Description:
The graduate Childhood Education Program provides teachers, who have already
obtained initial or provisional certification, with the opportunity to pursue a
course of study leading to the Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) degree.
The program emphasizes rigorous academic inquiry in combination with practical
experience. The curriculum focuses upon the knowledge, skills, and dispositions
that educators require to teach in schools that are culturally diverse,
artistically challenging and educationally complex.

Description:
The Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A) degree is granted in the fields of music
performance, composition/arranging, music education, or music history and
literature and requires demonstration of distinguished attainment. The degree is
offered with an emphasis on jazz/commercial music in accordance with the mission
of the College.

with concentrations in Performance, Composition/Arranging, Music History, and
