offers a broad range of courses in the languages, literatures, and history of
Greece and Rome. The department is a member of the Graduate Classics Consortium

Description:
The graduate program in history is a compact program with traditional strengths
in medieval and modern Europe and emerging programs in U.S. and Latin American
history. Course offerings typically focus on Europe and the Americas, the heart
of our M.A. and Ph.D. programs, although the department regularly offers courses
on transnational or global themes. The curriculum makes the MA program more
flexible giving MA degree students the option of completing the MA with or
without a concentration, and provides PhD students a wide range of
concentrations in all fields of Europe and the Americas from the middle ages up
to the twentieth century.

Description:
Located in New York City and known for its academic excellence, Fordham
University's Graduate Program in International Political Economy and Development
(IPED) offers a unique and innovative interdisciplinary approach to the study of
international economic relations to a select entering class of approximately 25
to 30 students each year. The IPED MA is a three semester program designed to
train students for international professional careers in business, government,
or the non-profit sector. Our curriculum offers a rigorous foundation in
economic, political, social, & quantitative analysis, and an advanced
interdisciplinary study of global economic relations and international
development issues. Most students specialize in either International Banking and
Finance or in International Development Studies. Fellowships are available to
top applicants.
Accreditation Description:
The IPED Program is a member of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and
Universities and an affiliate member of the Association of Professional Schools
of International Affairs. IPED is also affiliated with the US Peace Corps
through their Fellows/USA program. As part of Fordham University we are an
accredited member of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary
Schools. All IPED academic programs are registered with the Board of Regents of
the State of New York.
