Description:
Franklin University’s 17-month MBA program develops students' potential for
meeting future leadership challenges in a world characterized by ambiguity,
chaos, and uncertainty. The Program focuses on the needs of today’s employers
who are looking for innovative leaders who can nourish positive change. MBA
coursework requirements are completed online, with students required to attend
two on-site residencies (each 2-1/2days in duration) held at Franklin’s Main
Campus in downtown Columbus. Beginning Summer 2005, students in the Program will
choose from the Life-Cycle Format, presenting an integrated curriculum based on
the stages of the business life cycle, or the Discipline-Based Format, teaching
basic business disciplines one class at a time with emphasis on developing
whole-brain thinking skills. Students also select a Focus Discipline to tailor
the Program to their individual educational and professional goals.

Description:
The challenge of understanding and managing technical and organizational
paradigm shifts plays a pivotal role in the curriculum of Franklin’s Master of
Science in Computer Science (MSCS) Program. Students in the MSCS Program
progress through integrated cross-functional classes that incorporate the very
latest in technology and applications, promote knowledge sharing through group
and individual projects, and provide “real world” experience through
knowledgeable faculty who are experts in the Computer Science field. Students in
the MSCS Program will both develop expertise in advanced topics in computer
science with emphasis in real-world application, and gain the theoretical and
practical application skills required to master an understanding of the computer
science discipline. The MSCS Program can be completed in as few as 20 months by
attending six-week classes that meet one night per week at Franklin’s Main
Campus in downtown Columbus.

Franklin’s Master of Science in Marketing & Communication (MCM) is designed to
provide students with the knowledge to excel in a marketing and/or communication
position. It is one of the few programs in the nation that combines the
disciplines of marketing and communication in one degree program, producing
graduates who are uniquely qualified to fulfill both functions in an
organization. The MCM Program weaves creativity, ethics, technology and
multi-cultural components into classes that prepare students to meet present-day
and future industry demands. The Program’s curriculum is continuously updated
based on input from corporate leaders themselves. The MCM Program can be
completed in as few as 20 months by attending six-week classes that meet one
night per week at Franklin’s Main Campus in downtown Columbus.
