Description:
The post baccalaureate program at Hamline is a one year academic course of study
leading to a certificate. To qualify for admission a student must have a
bachelor's level degree from an accredited college or university. Post
baccalaureate paralegal students take legal specialty courses with the legal
assistant majors. They have access to and training in the use of the Hamline Law
Library. Post baccalaureate students have their own Orientation course. They can
select their two law related electives from the major course offerings or elect
to take graduate level courses in theMaster of Arts in Public Administration
program. The post baccalaureate paralegal program is an ABA approved program.

Through group work and an individual portfolio developed throughout the program,
demonstrate an ability to use at least three technology applications of your
choosing; create a work processed journal, one curriculum design project, a
database of your networking contacts, and electronic scrapbook of video images
and graphics from the World Wide Web and other sources, and a final paper
consisting of personal relections; explore various PC and Macintosh software
programs.

Description:
The TEFL Certificate Program prepares individuals with little or no teaching
experience to function effectively as teachers of English as a foreign language.
The program is clinically based, providing instruction in teaching and learning
theory concurrent with actual teaching practice. Instruction is student centered
with emphasis on active learning through participation, problem solving,
analysis, and discussion. Small class size allows for maximum involvement.
