The Master of Divinity degree is the universally recognized professional
ministerial degree. It is a 77-89 credit hour degree program which prepares
persons to enter vocational Christian ministry and is the degree normally
sought by churches seeking pastors and other staff personnel. As a
graduate/professional degree, it includes classroom-based study in the
classical theological disciplines and ministry-based study designed to
develop competence for the practice of ministry.

Description:
The Master of Education degree in Counseling and Human Development prepares
individuals for counselor positions in a variety of professional settings
such as public and private schools, two-year and four-year colleges and
universities, community mental health agencies, rehabilitation facilities,
correctional facilities, and related service settings. Graduates may pursue
professional counselor certification by the Texas Education Agency by
fulfilling additional TEA requirements. Graduates may also pursue Licensed
Professional Counselor (LPC) via the Texas State Board of Examiners of
Professional Counselors.

The M.S. degree in Environmental Management is a 31 to 37 semester hour
program of study which can be completed in a minimum of two years. All
courses are offered in the evening to accommodate working students. A thesis
track is available in addition to the popular internship track. Class sizes
are small and the average number of students in the program is twenty-four.
