The Institute offers degree programs in both a monthly format and a distance
learning format that provide students the option of pursuing either clinical
licensure or alternative paths in psychology. The Institute’s curriculum in
Imaginal Psychology draws on spiritual traditions, somatic practices, creative
arts, mythology, indigenous wisdom, literary and poetic imagination, deep
ecology, and social critique.The M.A. in Psychology program consists of two
years of coursework. The M.A. in Counseling Psychology program consists of
two-and-a-half years of coursework. The Institute’s Ph.D. and Psy.D. programs
require four years of coursework or three years for Advanced Standing students.
