Description:
As a studio intensive program, the MFA at Memphis College of Art offers a
catalytic environment with the goal of developing artistic practices that
contribute significantly to contemporary culture. The program emphasizes an
interdisciplinary approach to artmaking in both traditional and new media.
During the course of study, students are encouraged to consider the social,
cultural, and physical context of their work as central to its
interpretation.
