Description:
The MS program provides graduate level study in the science of nutrition.
Students build upon the basicsciences and nutrition research to develop
"cutting-edge" knowledge of nutrient function, nutrient impact on
themechanisms of disease, and current methods for nutrition intervention to
prevent and/or ameliorate disease inthe clinical and community setting. The
program can be taken by students prior to, or following doctoralprograms or
professional study in the health sciences. The program is also valuable to
nutrition and healthprofessionals to update and expand their nutrition
knowledge; each credit of graduate study earns 15 credits ofcontinuing
education credit from the American Dietetic Association.

advanced studies in architecture withinthe context of urban and regional
issues. The interrelationship between design at many scales from personal

"revolution in communication" has become a perpetual reality. This ongoing

field of intellectual scholarship and professional training,which, at NYIT,
is centered within the Department of Communication Arts and the School of

Communication Arts program offers a wide varietyof theoretical and
