Description:
Students selecting school counseling will be prepared to counsel children
K-12 in private or parochial schools. Students selecting community
counseling will be prepared to enter into an agency setting working with
children, adults, families, and groups. They are also prepared to select a
career guidance or employment setting. All students are prepared to take a
state licensure or national certification exam in their area.

Description:
The E-Learning Technology and Administration program is designed to prepare
E-learning technology support personnel and administrators for schools,
businesses, and public sector agencies. These graduates will support the
delivery of technology-based learning curricula and manage large operations
for the distance delivery of instruction programs. The program will provide
graduates with a combination of technology, basic pedagogy, and
administrative skills and knowledge. Although this degree will share a core
of technology and pedagogy courses with the proposed M.S. Ed. in E-learning
and Instructional Design, the focus of the M.S. in E-learning and
Administration will be on technology support and administrative leadership.
Within this M.S. degree, students will be able to pursue careers in K-12
schools, higher education, business, and government and will be able to
choose from four specialty areas: 1) Technology Support for Schools and
Business Education; 2) Multimedia Design for Educational E-delivery; 3)
Development of Educational Software; and 4) Design and Administration of
E-Learning Networks.
