The Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MCAOM) at
Northwestern Health Sciences University offers master's degrees in Oriental
medicine and acupuncture. MCAOM student interns provide acupuncture and
Oriental medicine services in community clinics, including the Aliveness
Project, a non-profit organization providing services to people living with
HIV/AIDS. Our classes are taught by world-renowned instructors in an 11-to-1
student-to-teacher ratio, allowing for personal attention and top-quality
training. Our master's degree programs emphasize a unified understanding of
the mind, body and spirit inherent in Oriental Medicine. The Minnesota

Description:
Northwestern Health Sciences University offers a unique graduate-level
certificate program in Integrative Health and Wellness. The program provides
training for health care professionals and post-graduate students seeking to
advance their capacity to develop and implement patient-centered services
and programs that promote healthy living. The program prepares health care
professionals to integrate mainstream and alternative concepts and
approaches to health care using a patient-centered, best practices model of
teaching and coaching. Health care professionals who desire to expand their
capacity to develop integrated models and practices of health care and to
provide health and wellness guidance and promotion to patients will receive
practical benefit from this program. The certificate can be completed in
less than two years through the five-trimester, weekend-only program.

Northwestern's School of Massage Therapy offers an academically rigorous,
high-quality professional massage therapy program. A 780-hour curriculum
includes more than 350 hours of hands-on lab and clinical experience.
Classes are offered in either a day or evening format; the program features
small class sizes, allowing easy access to outstanding educational resources
and the full-time, accredited staff. Northwestern's School of Massage
