Description:
Northwestern's 18 month program is accredited by the ABGC, and provides students with the competencies necessary to become a practicing genetic counselor. Students complete a balance of medical genetics and psychosocial coursework (including ethics, women's health studies and disability studies), clinical rotations beginning in the first year and a research project presented prior to graduation.

Description:
The Master of Science in Marital and Family Therapy is designed to produce clinical professionals who can effectively assess and treat individuals, couples and families for a wide array of problems. The program can be completed in two years of full-time study. Students complete 18 units of coursework and an intensive clinical practicum which includes at least 500 hours of face to face contact with clients, and more than 350 hours of group and individual supervision.
