Description:
The online master's program in Educational Technology is a rigorous and
standards-based program. The delivery of the program is 85% online and 15%
face-to-face meetings. It takes 13 months to complete. The program in organized
with approx. 24 students taking courses together with a full-time professor
serving as a mentor throughout the program. This structure creates a
collaborative environment in which students of various backgrounds, careers, and
geographic locations become a team and support each other's learning in a
distributed learning community.
Pepperdine's Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Technology is
designed to prepare leaders in the field of technological applications and
innovation in the world of education and business. Students attend classes in a
mix of face-to-face and Internet sessions. Students communicate asynchronously
through e-mail and newsgroups.

Description:
The objective of the teacher education program at Seaver College is to provide
the training and variety of experiences in different school situations which
will qualify teacher candidates for a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or a
Single Subject Teaching Credential. These credential programs were developed in
compliance with requirements of the State of California Commission on Teacher
Credentialing. Students interested in a joint program with both credentials need
to meet additional requirements and must secure the approval of an advisor. The
Teacher Education Program meets state requirements for technology and AB1059
English Language Learner authorization.

Pepperdine provides a 30 unit combined masters degree and credential program
that can be completed in eleven months and is designed to prepare leaders who
are capable of and committed to the personal, professional, and organizational
transformation necessary to create and lead schools that work for everyone in
our diverse society.Pepperdine also provides an Ed.D. program in Educational
Leadership, Administration, and Policy that is intended for policy-makers and
K-12, pre-K, and adult education administrators nationwide. This highly
innovative program uses sophisticated methods of inquiry and analysis to address
issues of professional practice and, at no additional cost, meets the CA
Professional Clear Administrative Credential requirements for those who are
eligible. Classes are held once a month on weekends so those living outside of
the Los Angeles area are encouraged to apply.

work is integrated with 60% face-to-face meetings and 40% online segments.
Face-to-face portions of the program will be offered in three extended blocks of
