Description:
Rockford College MBA graduates have become leaders in their organizations who
communicate effectively, think clearing, act decisively, and care about the
communities in which they live. The MBA program seeks to developed, through
course work and application of course material the following skills in all its
students: Analytical The ability to understand and apply numeric and
quantitative analysis to organizational problems and opportunities Critical
thinking The ability to separate fact from inference, without bias and in
consideration of another partys point of view Conceptual The ability to
understand how the various components of an organization relate, interact and
are interdependent on each other Leadership The ability to effectively lead a
project, group, or individual to the accomplishment of a specific goal Problem
Solving The ability to define, analyze and solve issues that could impact the
success of a group, project or organization Research The ability to find,
analyze, summarize and apply information from primary and secondary sources
Speaking The ability to effectively communicate thoughts, ideas and opinions
in formal and informal settings with and without the support of visual aids.
Team building The ability to effectively complete assignments in a setting
team setting Writing The ability to effective communicate thoughts, ideas and
opinions using a written format
