Description:
The San José State University Master of Public Health (MPH) Distance Education
Program provides health professionals with a 45-unit Master of Public Health
degree with specialization in Community Health Education. Students can complete
the MPH degree in two and one-half years, with only one five-day campus visit
per academic year. The online flexibility, and limited campus-based time, allows
students to maximize their educational experience while also continuing their
professional activities. Professors from the campus-based program teach most of
the courses.
Accreditation Description:
The SJSU MPH degree has been fully accredited by the Council on Education for
Public Health (CEPH), since 1974. CEPH is the only body that accredits both
schools of public health and public health programs.

provides students with a sound foundation for managerial and research positions

Description:
The daytime MS Accountancy degree program is for full-time students with
non-accounting baccalaureate degrees. This is a 12-month lockstep program that
begins in June of each year. The program includes a professional, paid
internship component.
