Description:
This special education Master's Emphasis and Certificate Program is designed to
meet the increasing demand for personnel with specialized training to work with
young children with special needs and their families. The program focuses on a
multidisciplinary approach to planning and implementing services for these

The Pastoral Ministries Program prepares women and men to enter into
professional ministry in the Church. It seeks to serve the following:persons
interested in preparing for ministerial leadership in catechetics, liturgical
music, pastoral liturgy, and spirituality on the parish or diocesan levels:
catechists, religious education directors, priests, deacons, liturgical
coordinators, men and women retreat leaders, choir directors, cantors, and
organists;persons working with the catechumenate, the Rite of Christian
Initiation of Adults, or with other forms of adult catechesis;persons teaching
in junior and senior high school religion programs or those working with youth
ministry; catechists either in parish schools or parish programs for children;
persons seeking catechetical, liturgical, musical, or theological renewal or
updating;persons preparing for further graduate study in these areas of
