Description:
The curriculum prepares graduates for a comprehensive understanding of the
medical, scientific, and counseling areas of human genetics. Coursework places
equal emphasis on medical genetics and psychological approaches to working with
patients at risk for inherited disease and includes extensive, carefully
supervised fieldwork in over 45 genetic centers throughout the New York
metropolitan region.

The Master of Fine Arts in Writing offers a distinguished faculty who balance
lives of imaginative engagement in their own creative work with serious
attention to that of their students. At the center of the Sarah Lawrence program
