Distance Learning is a natural extension of the university's capability of
offering and delivering quality education, both on the undergraduate and
graduate level, to students from all over the world. This program has been
developed in response to the needs of the adult learner in the "information
age." The creative use of modern educational technology makes selected SIU
programs available, any time, anywhere, through the World Wide Web. You may
complete the entire MBA program online, or onlinecourses may be combined with
one or more terms in residence at a Schiller campus in the United States or in
Europe, as your schedule allows. Online courses are limited to no more than 20
students per classs.

Description:
Schiller International University offers a flexible MBA program tailored to the
needs of working professionals. The 45 credit hour curriculum combines classroom
and distance learning courses. The classroom courses are scheduled at times
convenient for those who are employed. Two optional express terms will be
scheduled yearly, one either in London, England or in Leysin, Switzerland and
one at the Florida, USA campus. Accepted students may apply for up to six
portfolio credits based on work experience. Any portfolio credit awarded will
count as transfer credit that cannot exceed nine credit hours in total.
Executive MBA students will pay a reduced tuition rate of 75% of the published
amount or their degree. Students will be able to earn their graduate degree in
as few as five terms

This specialized MBA program is designed to meet the emerging market demand for
IT management professionals. The MBA concentration in Management of Information
Technology is offered at SIUÕs London, Heidelberg, and Florida campuses.
Students must complete a total of 15 courses including 7 MBA core courses and 8
concentrated IT courses. Students interested in Ecommerce can take the following
courses as electives: IT 551, Web Site Development and Management and IT 554,
Electronic Commerce. The MBA program with a concentration in Management of
information Technology may be completed in two semesters and one summer session
of study.
