Description:
St. John’s University is pleased to announce a new area of concentration in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies Culture Studies track. This new concentration in Women’s and Gender Studies provides the opportunity for students to choose from a wide variety of course offerings, ranging from Asian Studies to History, from Languages and Literatures to Sociology, from Psychology to Theology & Religious Studies. The concentration in Women’s and Gender Studies in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies Culture Studies track is a 33 credit program of study.

The M.A. degree in English allows students to advance in their present careers or embark upon a new one. The program provides a full survey of major topics in English literature, literary history, and the pedagogy of composition.
The Doctor of Arts in English is a respected doctoral degree that emphasizes classroom teaching as well as scholarly research.
