Description:
The purpose of the M.A. in African Studies is to provide students with a
foundation in African Studies through a core set of courses dealing with the
history, politics, society, and culture of this region along with advanced
language training and in depth surveys of given subject matter dealing with the
region. The M.A. program is designed for recent graduates with a B.A. who have
previous experience in or exposure to working, living or studying in Africa, and
for those who are undertaking a professional degree and want to enhance that

The Biomechanical Engineering (BME) Division has research and teaching programs
