Special Education is a synthesis of a multidisciplinary body of knowledge
relevant to the understanding, education, and treatment of persons with
handicapping conditions. Touro's Special Education program is dedicated to
serving the needs of schools in the general New York Metropolitan area that
work with children and youth who have mental, emotional, and learning

Description:
An Occupational Therapist uses goal-directed activities to help people of
all ages to prevent, reduce or overcome a wide variety of disabling
conditions - mental, physical and developmental. They use their personal and
professional skills to help people function happily and independently in
daily life. We offer both Occupational Therapy Assistant Programs, via an
evening program and an entry-level BS/MS OT Degree. Flexible scheduling is
available and we welcome OTA graduates wishing to advance their careers.

qualified and professional practitioners of acupuncture and Oriental
