Description:
Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTI-C) offers a unique
opportunity to the most promising computer scientists. Training doctoral
students is our primary focus, in the areas of theoretical computer science,
machine learning, programming languages and scientific computing. Students
learn from and collaborate with our faculty within the intimate context of a
small research institution. We are dedicated to successful placement of
Ph.D. graduates in top academic positions, and to helping students establish
strong publications records before graduation and develop effective skills
in making public presentations. TTI-C is located on the University of
Chicago campus, which allows our students access to the faculty, research
libraries and other resources of the University.
Accreditation Description:
Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago was granted initial candidacy
status for accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission of the North
Central Association of Colleges and Schools on May 2, 2005. The Commission
Board of Trustees validated this action through its validation process
conducted on May 17, 2005.
