Description:
As the only freestanding graduate school of sport in the country, the United
States Sports Academy, "America's Sports University," has provided
leadership through academic excellence for more than 30 years. The Master of
Sports Science (M.S.S.) and the Doctor of Education (Ed.D) in Sports
Management degree programs are regionally accredited and are approved by
NASPE and NASSM. Both residential study and distance learning options are
available for the M.S.S. and the D.S.M. degree programs. The M.S.S. program
maybe completed entirely online with the acceptation of coming on campus to
take the comprehensive examinations that are held in conjunction with the
Academy’s graduation celebration.
Accreditation Description:
The United States Sports Academy is accredited by the Commission on Colleges
of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the Bachelor of
Sports Science degree (level II), the Master of Sports Science degree (level
III), and the Doctor of Education degree (level V). Contact the Commission
