Description:
The M.A. in Higher Education is offered to persons who are already employed in
staff or administrative positions in colleges and universities, or who seek
employment in higher education. The program is largely oriented toward the
challenges of leadership and administration in contemporary higher education in
the United States. The program is uniquely suited for staff and administrators
who have a baccalaureate or professional degree and want to upgrade their
preparation for careers in higher education. The M.A. in higher education can
also lead to study in the School of Education’s doctoral program in
postsecondary educational administration.

Description:
The Department of Leadership, Foundations and Human Resource Education offers
the Master of Science program. Program graduates are able to assess performance
problems in organizations, design and deliver appropriate interventions,
evaluate change and the impact of interventions. The program is offered in the
Louisville area, at Ft. Knox Army Base, and in international locations (most
recently Cairo, Egypt; Prague, Czech Republic, and Panama City, Panama). In
addition, the entire degree program can be completed using distance education
technologies (students in the Louisville area should take locally offered
sections). A doctoral program track in Human Resource Education and
Organizational Development also is available.

Description:
To address the need for trained professionals in the interdisciplinary field of
data mining, the Department of Computer Engineering and Computer Science (CECS)
and the Department of Mathematics faculty have developed a joint certificate
program in data mining. The certificate will consist of 18 hours, with two
required courses from CECS, two required courses from Mathematics, and two
elective courses selected from a list of relevant elective courses in CECS and
Mathematics.
