The M.S. offers two tracks for entry to the program: Entry Track I is a
60-credit hour program designed for those whose baccalaureate degree was awarded
in non-computing-related disciplines, Entry Track II is a 40-credit hour program
for students who have a baccalaureate degree in computing (such as computer
science, computing and software systems and computer engineering).

The UWT Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is a 72-credit graduate
program designed for working professionals to enhance their abilities to
respond, manage, and lead change. The program emphasizes the organization as a

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree is organized under the umbrella of the
education Education Program at UW Tacoma. Within that framework, prospective
teachers may earn a residency certificate (Elementary Education or Secondary
Science). Prospective principals and program administrators may also earn a
residency certificate. For practicing teachers we offer professional
certification, as well as study options including Special Education, Humanities,
and Science.
