Description:
The keystones of the Master of Arts program at Upper Iowa University are the
areas of emphasis in Human Resources Management, Quality Management and
Organizational Development. While complementary, the three areas of emphasis are
distinct. Upper Iowa University identifies functional areas as quality, finance,
organizational behavior, and leadership. Leadership cuts across these functional
areas of business and examines the relationships between and among people as
they carry out their leadership responsibilities in the business environment.
The student will learn how to motivate others and to work with those individuals
and groups upon whom management is dependent to achieve results. Students will
advance their understanding of the subject matter and will work with their
colleagues in the application of theory to practice.
