Description: The Graduate Record Examination (GRE 2013) will be conducted on Feb 23, 2013 across the globe. GRE test conducted for admission to various graduate schools based in United State other English speaking countries and Business programs.
GRE will be conducted in Computer based online test and paper based test. The time allowed for Computer based test is 3 hours 45 minutes and has a six sections with a 10 minute break after the third section and for paper based test is 3 hours 30 minutes.
Here are the some strategies and tips for GRE.
The Analytical writing section measures your ability to sustain a well focused, coherent discussion, articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively, support your ideas with relevant examples and examine claims and accompanying evidence. This section has two 30 minute separately times tasks, "Analyse and Issue" & "Analyse and Argument". The score for this section is reported in a 0-6 scale, in half point increment.
The Verbal reasoning section measures your ability to analyse and drew conclusions from, a discourse, understand multiple levels of meanings, select important points, and understand the meanings of sentence and entire texts. There are two 30 minute sections in the test, each containing about 20 questions. The score is reported on a 130-170 scale, in one point increments.
The Quantitative reasoning section measures your ability to interpret and analyse quantitative information and use mathematical algebra, geometry, probability and statistics to solve problems. There are two 35 minute sections each containing about 20 questions. The score is reported on a 130-170 scale, in one point increment.
